Graduate Program

Working with experienced industry leaders, our Graduate Program enables you to participate in a structured induction and development program during your first 12 months with Sarah.
The program is available for ambitious 4th year students nearing graduation who are keen to make their career in the construction industry.
Our diverse workforce contains people who thrive on working in an interesting and ever-changing environment. As a Sarah Constructions employee, you’ll be involved in meaningful and interesting work across our business teams. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of projects and will have the opportunity to develop critical skills that will make you a true all-rounder.

Program Structure

At Sarah, we work towards your development and that’s why we have created a tailored program to accelerate your career and help you reach your full potential.

On-the-job Training

The program runs for 12 months full time and offers diverse on-the-job experiences. Our graduate program combines practical experience, technical learning, mentorship and professional development.

Job Rotations

As a Graduate, you will gain exposure to a variety of teams and locations providing a strong technical foundation and wide range of experience across our business. You will gain exposure across estimating, sub-contracts administration, safety and site supervision to open up multiple career avenues into the construction industry.

Mentorship & Support

You will be assigned a mentor to aid your learning and support you in settling into the organisation.

Graduate Recruitment Process

Sarah Constructions targets high quality graduates who are committed, aligned to our values, have a result driven attitude and a passion for exceeding expectations.

Applicants will be in their final year and will need to demonstrate effective communication skills plus strong problem solving, analytical, time management and organisational abilities.

Applicants will be in the final year of their degree in one of the following disciplines:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil and Project Management)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil and Structural)
  • Bachelor of Built Environment
  • Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics
  • Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Architectural Studies
