A strategic and inspirational leader, Adrian’s career spans more than 30 years in commercial construction and development. As the Sarah Constructions CEO, Adrian is passionate about leading and developing our people, creating safe workplaces and driving continuous improvement.

Adrian excels in the ability to narrate the business direction and vision to allow the autonomy and the space for our people to bring the vision to life and to drive collective success.

James Sarah lives and breathes the values of strong relationships, high-quality solutions focused construction, long term sustainability of the business and creating an environment where the Sarah team thrives and excels.

James has been involved in the business for over 30 years and has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Building Studies) from the SA Institute of Technology (now UniSA), an MBA from Bond University and a Dip CDC (Company Directors Course) from the Australian Institute of Company Directors of which he is a Fellow. James is also an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School OPM (Owner/President Management) program.

Tim Sarah lives and breathes the values of strong relationships, high-quality solutions focused construction, long term sustainability of the business and creating an environment where the Sarah team thrives and excels.

Tim is a chartered accountant by profession and holds a Bachelor of Economics, an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management, a Diploma of CDC from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Both James and Tim are experienced public company directors and Fellows of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Drawing on over 24 years industry experience across a broad range of project types, Terry delivers strategic guidance to the operational direction, training and development of our people and the financial performance of our business.

A lateral thinker, Terry supports our people to push the boundaries of traditional construction methods and challenges status quo. Implementing a big picture perspective, Terry identifies skillsets within the business to align our most effective teams, ensuring the right resources deliver the right results for our customers and our people.

Terry is passionate about supporting innovation and creative thinking to re-imagine and reshape a better construction industry. Through his roles on both the MBA Contractors and MBA Hi-Viz Committee’s, and by proactively supporting continual improvement at Sarah, Terry champions ways to improve the professionalism of our industry.

Combining hands on practical experience in planning and programming, with strategic knowledge to improve business performance, Salem delivers excellence for Sarah and our clients. With a collaborative and broad thinking approach, Salem aligns teams to project outcomes to ensure successful delivery.

Through a broad understanding of construction and high-level communication skills, Salem manages key project relationships from stakeholders, through to contractors. Salem combines this with an inclusive, team focused approach, working to people’s strengths and recognising their contribution.

With over 18 years’ experience successfully delivering complex projects, Jon understands client needs and looks outside the box to ensure best possible solutions. Drawing on his environmental qualifications, Jon is at the forefront of Sarah’s commitment to sustainability, looking at new and different ways of delivering construction in South Australia to reduce our environmental impact.

Jon’s ability to inspire people to think differently and feel comfortable to try new things, underpins his role as the Business Manager for Sarah Build. Combining structured problem solving and the ability to manage many moving parts, Jon delivers creative solutions.

Leveraging over 30 years industry experience, combined with high-level communication skills, Richard provides a professional client interface and supports relationship management across projects from tender through to implementation.

Implementing a firm but fair approach, Richard supports our people and sub-contractors with his knowledge and experience to help them achieve their best results. Through his calm and empathetic approach, Richard is proactive addressing issues early and conflict resolution.

A specialist in commercial management, Lewis draws on an established professional career with experience in Australian and Overseas markets, to implement a strategic approach to commercial and operational delivery.

Combining an operational background with commercial knowledge, Lewis reviews opportunities for process improvement to streamline our project teams. From big picture time management to individual people management, Lewis enhances business process management at Sarah.

Dena has been driving a culture of safety at Sarah for more than 7 years. Combining an engineering background and current law studies with a practical approach, Dena is an expert at translating complicated compliance standards into implementable, best practice business methodologies.

Operating with integrity and conviction, Dena encourages others to embrace a mindset of continuous improvement to support business growth, innovation and achieve best outcomes.

With a passion to increase female participation in safety and construction, Dena is a mentor for women in construction.

A results orientated marketing professional, Belinda draws from over 25 years in commercial construction to deliver genuine communications, providing a true and honest voice for Sarah. Combining a whole of business approach and planning efficiency whilst aligning and supporting strategic deliverables.

Her finger on the pulse, Belinda brings together key people and outside the box thinking to underpin Sarah’s business development. With a people first focus, Belinda supports her team to deliver Sarah’s competitive tenders, showcasing and highlighting the business capabilities and strengths.

Motivated by her personal learning journey, Belinda is a passionate advocate for Sarah’s RAP (reconciliation action plan) and through persistent effort, is leading a program of cultural awareness and authentic change at Sarah.

Leading Sarah’s HR team and strategy, Stefan is central in shaping Sarah’s ambition to be the number one workplace in commercial construction. With a human centred focus, Stefan manages programs to develops workforce skills and capabilities that support individual wellbeing and business growth.

Stefan takes an evidence based approach to help create meaningful and positive workplace experiences at Sarah. With a practical, pragmatic and collaborative approach, Stefan is passionate about growing talent and developing leadership at all levels of the business.

Passionate about improving the pathways and opportunities in construction, Stefan is a member of both the Industry Skills Council for Construction, Mining and Energy, HRM Program Advisory Group for the University of South Australia and has participated as a mentor for AHRI.

With over 18 years in constructions, delivering large projects across multiple sectors, Ben implements practical construction knowledge to achieve positive outcomes for Sarah’s clients.  With a collaborative problem-solving approach, Ben is known for building strong, long-term relationships.

Applying a strategic focus to target opportunities where Sarah can add genuine value, Ben works to ensure every project delivers success for both our clients and Sarah. Across the project lifecycle, from tender to construction, Ben collaborates with the project teams to ensure stakeholders both internally and externally, are aligned.

Marek combines over 18 years experience in construction with high level attention to detail, to successfully coordinate his team in the management of construction estimates and tender bids. Through an extensive knowledge of the local subcontractor and supplier network, Marek delivers excellence to our clients across estimating, cost planning and value management.

Implementing collaborative and strategic communication, Marek focuses on how to consistently deliver excellence in estimation. With a genuine pride in achieving the best outcomes for our clients and Sarah, Marek supports his team to deliver positive results.

Dean is a complex problem solver with over 21 years’ experience in construction. Drawing on his ability to translate technical drawings into practical programming and building methodologies, Dean shapes project success from initial stages through to completion.

Overseeing commercial activities and project teams, Dean draws on his commercial law and on site construction experience to deliver high quality results. Implementing a collaborative approach, Dean supports his team to work together, creating an inclusive work environment.

Highly practical and methodical, Luke combines over 9 years construction experience with an approachable communication style, to successfully manage relationships and interactions at all levels of the project. Through his detail orientated and structured approach, Luke practically applies procedural details within the wider project team through to implementation on-site.

With a strong ability to foresee problems and proactively manage solutions before they become issues, Luke encourages his team in collaborative problem solving. By supporting his team members to be confident in their solutions and decisions, Luke fosters innovation and proactive project teams.

An expert in the delivery of complex fitout projects, Evan combines over 20 years industry experience with a high attention to detail in order to deliver results for our clients. Drawing from a design background and extensive practical knowledge, Evan quickly identifies feasible solutions.

Combining an ability to visualise written plans with an in-depth understanding of client needs, Evan can identify pinch points and issues before they manifest. With a focus on building strong client relationships, Evan delivers options to future-proof long-term needs or improvements.

Combining 16 years’ experience in construction with focus and dedication, Rob is committed to delivering successful outcomes. To achieve results, Rob draws on his high-level attention to detail and implements a fair and reasonable approach.

Placing a high value in open and honest communication with his team and stakeholders, Rob makes himself present and available across all levels. Rob encourages autonomy by respecting and supporting his team’s ability to perform and do their job.

Detail orientated and proficient in services management across multiple sectors, Bill draws from over 14 years’ experience in construction, to support successful service coordination from initial project stages through to handover.

Combining a wholistic and methodical approach, with excellence in time management, Bill ensures that services are installed in a safe and timely manner. Through empathetic and open communication, Bill coordinates multiple contractors and service providers to collaboratively deliver project outcomes.

Alex combines a passion for innovation and technology with over 11 years’ experience in construction to continually push boundaries and establish more efficient and effective processes. An expert in digital workflow and auditing, Alex manages creative 3D modelling to deliver better client outcomes and improved quality control.

Through a systematic and detail orientated approach, Alex pre-plans workflows, working on the now to support future success. A strong communicator, Alex encourages input and contribution from his team, always with the end deliverable as the common goal. With Alex, actions speak louder than words.

With over 30 years’ in the construction industry, Sean brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to provide strategic advantage for both Sarah and our clients. Working across many sectors, Sean delivers programming and methodology expertise for Sarah’s tender submissions.

Through a collaborative and inclusive approach, Sean creates mitigating strategies to support the transition from concept drawing into detailed design. Sean provides informed insights to ensure buildability input helping to identify time constraints and potential scheduling issues at tender phase.

With over 35 years industry experience, Michael applies a practical design thinking approach to understand client needs and identify creative solutions. An advocate for sustainability, Michael is a green star accredited professional who understands how to approach the design process to achieve wellbeing outcomes.

Michael excels at value management methodology and applies strategic thinking to ensure designs deliver the best outcomes based on not only a cost but also buildability perspective. Implementing a big vision perspective, Michael takes clients and our team on a journey of understanding, delivering solutions via true collaboration.

A member of the Planning and Design Committee for PCA, Michael champions for improving the planning system, aiming to reduce red tape to allow better design outcomes to ultimately increase efficiency in building processes.

Danielle combines over 12 years of interior architecture experience with a collaborative and open approach to ensure client vision is delivered in project results. Not afraid to ask questions, Danielle ensures that client requirements are translated to both, Architectural documents and the build team.

With a collaborative and open approach, Danielle brings key stakeholders on the project journey through practical and easy to understand communication. Danielle focuses on understanding our clients what and why, then works to ensure the design responds to those requirements.

Motivated to ensure the construction industry considers how a space influences the end user, Danielle champions the creation of spaced that people feel excited by – especially education facilities, where physical space plays a role in shaping young minds and learning outcomes.
