Our Approach to Learning
We pride ourselves on developing construction professionals and industry leaders. Our approach is simple – create opportunities for people to contribute to learning and development at all stages of their career.
As an organisation, our goals are to ensure that we:
- create industry pathways for aspiring construction professionals,
- provide professional development to continuously elevate the standard for construction professionals,
- encourage and support our people to unlock leadership potential, and
- enable knowledge sharing for people to impart their expertise and knowledge, allowing us to maintain a strong learning culture.
At all times, we want our people to be able to Learn, Grow, Lead and Mentor and we have a number of initiatives to support these goals; ranging from our formal training programs and professional development series, to our bespoke leadership program and coaching, and employee-led masterclasses.
We believe that we have an important part to play in ensuring that professionals in our industry are exceptional – not only technically, but also in how we engage with our stakeholders
Sarah supports continuous professional development through our Professional Development Series, which includes both site tours and employee-led masterclasses. We leverage internal expertise, whilst also engaging with experts across our industry to provide technical training and coaching.
Leadership development is another key focus at Sarah and our bespoke Leadership Program aims to build our future leaders. Participants work closely with our Executive team to better understand current and future business strategies, while growing their ability to manage their own wellbeing, and others through a number of tailored development initiatives.
As part of the program, participants collaborate to produce some exciting improvement initiatives to address both current and future business challenges, many of which are adopted and implemented.
