Quality Control & Strict Time Management Achieve Outstanding Result For Luxury Brand
The new Pilatus facility outside Adelaide Airport comprises a 3560m2 3-storey Head Office, training and administration facility, ground floor spare parts storage, car parking and access road, and a 1560m2 hangar for aircraft parking, display and maintenance. The $12.7 million development is accompanied by additional airside works, for which Adelaide Airport Limited (AAL) is responsible, and includes a 3000m2 apron, diversion of the airside road and associated civil works.
Sarah Constructions was engaged to deliver the Pilatus facility at the southern end of Sir Reginald Ansett Way and immediately next door to the existing Royal Flying Doctor Service facility. The airside interface along the hangar and office alignment is to follow.
For luxury brand Pilatus, this development allows their clients to land their jet and walk straight through to the carpark, while the business can maintain its planes and support RFDS next door with spare parts. For Sarah Constructions, this project is an example of tight quality control and time management to achieve an outstanding result.
