Strategic Programming Delivers Successful Heritage Refurbishment in Operational CBD

With a premier city location on North Terrace, in a beautiful heritage building, the Queen Adelaide Club is one of Australia’s oldest women’s clubs. This refurbishment comprised a new commercial kitchen, lift shaft, alterations to the roof structure for new plant and internal fit-out of club rooms across approximately 1000 square meters and 4 floors.

The project works involved alterations to an existing building in a heritage context, working around a 100+ year old façade, which required careful and detailed construction methodology. Meticulous planning was required as the premises remained operational throughout the project.

With the ability to remain operational as the client’s highest priority, this project is an excellent example of Sarah Constructions’ flexible and strategic programming abilities. Sarah’s collaborative working relationship with the Queen Adelaide Club was at the core of the successful result for this project.
