The $1.5M upgrade to the Fos Williams Family Stand and existing changerooms has delivered first-class facilities for the Port Adelaide Football Club (PAFC) and its AFLW team joining the competition and part of the broader Alberton Oval Precinct redevelopment.

With careful consideration of heritage building conditions, the redevelopment provides new player changerooms, bathrooms, player lounges, meeting rooms, coaches and medic rooms to support training and match day requirements.

The renovation delivers on PAFC’s commitment to the next generation of South Australian female athletes, including the club’s AFLW players and AFLW Next Generation Academy players.

Our experience working with Sarah Constructions on this redevelopment project was overwhelmingly positive. They delivered not only an outstanding state-of-the-art build, but impeccable, consistent, and timely communication throughout the entire project for our wide range of internal and external stakeholders, backed by solid and effectives processes. It was made clear to us that the team approach every build with care, and a genuine desire to deliver a world class product to each project.

With a unique set of challenges such as a very tight timeline, a list of heritage building requirements and AFL venue guidelines that needed to be met, the Sarah team succeeded with consummate professionalism, providing the perfect platform for a positive working relationship, and an all-round seamless project from start to finish.
