Value Management, Communication & Consistent Workflow Delivers New Innovation Hub
The completed Westminster School Inquiry and Innovation Hub provides a new home for science, CAD engineering, fashion, IT, materials, food design and technology departments within the School’s large STEAM Precinct. While the three-storey Inquiry and Innovation Hub is now complete, the Masterplan scope also includes construction of a three-storey Food, Library and Performing Arts Hub, and refurbishment of the existing 300 Block learning areas, which has just been completed early March 2021.
The delivery of the Inquiry and Innovation Hub reaffirms the school’s position as a leading educator in South Australia, featuring sophisticated robotics and engineering equipment, an industry-standard laser cutter/printer, specialised fashion design space with 25 industrial sewing machines and contemporary physics, chemistry, psychology and biology spaces.
The Sarah Constructions team collaborated closely with consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver excellent value management, with consistent workflow and communication to achieve an outstanding result.
